Sera Costapur is a water conditioner against Ichthyophthirius multifiliis (a pathogen causing white spot disease) and other single-celled skin parasites such as Ichthyobodo necator, Chilodonella, Trichodina, Brooklynella and Cryptocaryon irritans, as well as against infections by fungi (mycoses). The aquarium should be darkened during treatment.
For use in fresh and marine water.
Please note that cartilaginous fish (Chondrichthyes) and invertebrates do not tolerate the treatment.

Malachite green oxalate 0.18g, formaldehyde solution 5.89g (equals 2.06g formaldehyde), aqua purificata ad 100ml.

Normal dosage: on the 1st and 3rd day add 1 ml or 22 drops for each 40 liters (10.5 US gal.) of aquarium water, in severe cases dose again on the 5th and 7th day.
Sera costapur is available in 50 ml (1.7 fl.oz.), 100 ml (3.4 fl.oz.) and 500 ml (16.9 fl.oz.) bottles. Attention: With 100 ml (3.4 fl.oz.) and 500 ml (16.9 fl.oz.) sizes the inverted nozzle cannot be used as a dropper.
Darkening the tank, slightly elevated temperature and simultaneous aeration will accelerate the healing process. During treatment remove filter carbon and switch off UV sterilizers!
We recommend filtering through sera super carbon and conducting a partial water change two days after the last treatment. To help the fish increase their natural resistance to diseases, sera Fishtamin (fish vitamins) should also be used.
