Hermit crab "Growth" shell. As hermit crabs grow they need larger shells to change into.

Always keep extra shells in their enclosure.
These extra "Growth" shells should be larger than the shell your crab currently resides in.


Helpful hermit crab hints:
Temperature: 75-83 degrees F (24-28 degrees centigrade)
Substrate: Use zoo Med's Hermit crab sand and/or hermit soil to maintain proper humidity levels.
Lighting: Subdues, not too bright, add branches for climbing and extra shells.
Humidity: Very important (70%+)
