Feeding Guidelines:
Birds often require a conversion period to get familiar with new foods. When introducing a new food, begin with a mixture of the "old and new" foods, gradually increasing the amount of new food over a 7 to 10 day period. This will prevent digestive upsets as well as allowing your bird to adjust to something new. Best results are obtained by feeding only the amount your bird will consume in one day. Adjust the portions to maintain proper weight and if additional birds are fed. Discard any uneaten food and clean dish before each feeding.
