Pet Lovers Centre was mentioned as a proud sponsor of Animal Aid - a local charity concert where local musicians played for free to help raise money for animal welfare groups and commemorate World Animal Day. The event, which was organized by Thunder Rock School, was held over the weekend of 8-9 October 2011 at 313@Somerset's Discovery walk. The aim of the concert was for animal charity groups to reach out to the younger generation using the appeal of the local bands and their young following. Guest performers like Robert Fernando and Flybar were present. The band Monster Cat even made an exception to grace the event despite their initial plan to not do any shows this month to prepare for their upcoming tour in Japan. In all, the 2-day event helped raise funds and successfully spread awareness among the younger generation in Singapore.
