hi,
i posted a qn on 19 sep regarding a baby dove that my dad found. we've been looking after it for a month now. we think his right leg might be broken as it is always stretched out. he cannot bend it himself, but wen we hold his leg we are able to bend it. and now dat he's older, i noticed that his leg is stretched out and his feet is pointing backwards. wenever he move, he can only turn in circles. can i bring it to the vet? can they fix his leg?

Answer:
Hi Bilchyfiz,
We suggest to bring over to your veterinarian for proper assessment and referral. If broken leg is suspected, X-ray and other modalities of examinations are necessary for proper diagnosis. Walking in circles have different causes such as those caused by bacterial infection or viral infection. Majority of these abnomal walking are due to nervous system problems which may be due to the causes stated (bacteria, viral or anatomical dysfunction)
