Hi Enyibuaku,
Rabbit tends to become highly possessive once they give birth to their offsprings. It is ideal NOT to touch the baby kits with your bare hands as it may lead your doe not to nurse her kits. Typically they nurse their "babies" once a day, we suggest to have a simple check to the kits. Healthy kits are tightly clustered and free from wrinkled skin.
With regards to bedding and nesting materials, we suggest to use only normal beddings such as recycled paper or beddings which are intended for small animal. Remove unnecessary stuffs from your rabbit's cage which are health hazards that may cause suffocation. We suggest further, to offer ample of hay, as it can serve both as a food and a nesting material for your rabbit.
