We suggest to refer back to your veterinarian, and give a sample of the suspected "lice" or "fur mites" for proper identification. The proper identification is so crucial for a more effective line of treatment. Shaving may or may not be necessary depending on the anti parasitic medications applied.
We suggest further, to use anti parasitic spray on your pet's cage and beddings, as well as keep the bedding clean and dry at all times. This would help reduce parasitic eggs load in your pet's vicinity that will eventually develop into adult ones, and conduct it regularly.
